What would you do if your family was counting on you for their lively hood, and you could make a fast 10k. Yeah, that what Jaycee tried. This book was fun, funny and wonderfully written. I had a blast learning about these guys and what can happen when the fairy god...ball player? comes acalling.
Jaycee has to care for her brother and sister, there is no way she is letting them go back to foster care, NONE. So she gets a bright idea when she hears about a quick ten thousand dollars. She didn't think about the consequences of getting caught.
Reed doesn't know Jaycee or her circumstances but damn if he doesn't want her the minute he sees her and he isn't going to be a gentleman about taking what he wants.
You have to read this book. I mean it, you really really do.
