REVIEW BY BRENDA'S BOOK BEAT

Never close enough by  Anie Michaels
4stars
Anie Michaels is a wonderful writer, I enjoyed her descriptions and the emotions she invokes.  You do need to be warned that this book is a CLIFFHANGER. I loved the story, I was enjoying the hell out of the book and then WHAM.
Ella's emotional journey is a tearjerker that requires tissues, lots of them.  I like that she is a strong woman with a problem, not a weak woman with yet another problem.  It was delightful to see her take a chance to trust again after her fiancĂ© cheated.
I enjoyed the interactions between Porter and his mother and Ella, it was nice to see a grown man who remembers his manners and what his mother taught him.
This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
